Anyone who has ever savoured the culinary delights in North German inns may have come across the slogan:
'Feinheimisch - Enjoyment from Schleswig-Holstein'. Behind this slogan lies a remarkable network of committed players, including restaurateurs, chefs and producers who are passionate about regional flavours. Anyone wishing to become a Feinheimisch member must source at least 60% of their food and drink from Schleswig-Holstein and make a clear commitment to the environmentally friendly and sustainable use of products.
No problem for us! From the very beginning, we have pursued a regional approach and worked with James Farm in Hörup as a supplier from an early stage.
That's why it quickly became clear that we wanted to join Feinheimisch - with all our restaurants. The Schnüsch, the Landgang and the Hafenkantine.
But the path to membership was anything but easy. The Feinheimisch team scrutinises every business carefully and extensively. This ranges
internal processes, effective waste separation and environmentally conscious behaviour throughout the business. With three restaurants, this evaluation process naturally took time.
In the end, however, we can proudly announce that we are now recognised as an excellent Feinheimisch establishment.
This recognition is not only an honour for us, but also a confirmation of our commitment to regional products and a sustainable way of working and living. We look forward to continuing to bring the best of Schleswig-Holstein to the table and offering our guests an authentic and enjoyable experience!
