Our James Farm is a place where animal welfare and sustainability are paramount. The species-appropriate husbandry of the animals ensures first-class quality - Husum protest pigs, Durocs and woolly pigs live on straw and with plenty of exercise, while Rotbunten DN dairy cows provide milk that is reminiscent of the original flavour. German Angus cattle grow up stress-free, and pasture-raised chickens lay eggs with a particularly full-bodied flavour. Bees and goats also contribute to the sustainable concept - because the claim goes far beyond individual products.

In our harbour canteen, you can experience this philosophy in hearty dishes that rely on down-to-earth, home-made ingredients. Whether it's a hearty breakfast with eggs from our pasture-raised chickens or a rustic lunch - honest flavour takes centre stage here.
