When spring arrives at the North Sea, it's time for one of the most beautiful highlights of the year: the Büsum Kite Flying Days. With a fresh breeze, clear air and a wide horizon, a special atmosphere is created at the Perlebucht family lagoon - calm, lively and typically Nordic.

From 04 - 06 April 2026, international and national kite flyers will transform the sky above Büsum into an impressive backdrop of colours and shapes. Large kites, artistic figures and precise stunt kites fly their courses over the water and mudflats, creating an experience that is both relaxing and fascinating.

The kite flying days invite you to pause, look up and savour the moment - whether on a walk along the lagoon, with the family or simply while relaxing and watching. The weekend is complemented by a gastronomic offer that rounds off your stay by the North Sea in an enjoyable way.
