Federico
Albanese at the
Lighthouse
Italian pianist and composer FEDERICO ALBANESE, one of Europe's greatest neoclassical talents, will honour the Hotel Lighthouse in Büsum with a performance on 20 January 2024 against the impressive backdrop of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site.
Following a sold-out and acclaimed performance by Canadian neoclassical pioneer Jean-Michel Blaise in September 2023, this will be the second high-class piano concert in the casually luxurious ambience of the Hotel Lighthouse in a short space of time.
Federico Albanese is blessed with a rare musical versatility and a flair for alternative, eclectic forms of expression. His cross-genre piano sound is influenced by alt-pop, psychedelia and other forms of composition. His cross-genre piano soundscapes typically include elements of guitar, bass violin and electronica, creating an unrivalled sound.
His latest EP "Days Of Passage" deals with thoughts and emotions regarding an important turning point in life. "It's essentially a journey into the imagination, almost like a dream," explains Albanese. "The music describes all the hopes, thoughts, challenges and fears that can come over us when we start to wonder what our future might hold."
Federico Albanese is restlessly creative, and his search for new sounds and experiments is more extensive than most. With around half a million monthly listeners on Spotify and sold-out concerts across Europe, the Berlin-based Italian is one of the biggest talents on the local neoclassical scene.
Admission from 19:00.
The concert is presented by Kawai and Konzertdirektion Palme.
Strictly limited tickets are available for 15 euros (incl. welcome drink) from 04 December 2023 HERE.
